Ugh been so busy with exams exams exams that everything else fell by the wayside.
I've also been working a bit which is obviously the best way to beat any recession - get a job!!
But back to more recessionista things....I replaced my mac power cord rather than spend ten times that amount on a new one or even five times the cost of the cord on a PC despite the arguments of Mr (I'm always) Right that I should revert to a Windows PC.

This computer has lasted over two years and is going strong!

However to combat the stereotype of MAC users as Starbucks loitering posers I am drinking my fair trade Earl Grey and French Roast at home these days. The cost of a 'tall' tea in 'bucks is as much as the premium Earl Grey I treated myself to and twice as much as the lovely Lidl version!

Tea parties are lovely to have at home - buy some vintage biscuits from your childhood like the pink wafers in Tesco for 99c (which are discontinuing-horror!) or some Fox's party rings which have the added advantage of only 30 odd calories apiece.
